- Bachelor of Music (BM) in vocal performance
- Master of Music (MM) in vocal performance
- Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in vocal performance
Students in all degree programs, including the Music Education, Music Therapy, and Music Administration degrees, are eligible to participate in the opera program and receive the training and performance experience it offers. Graduate students and advanced undergraduates may also receive experience in stage direction. Graduate students may also obtain opera workshop teaching experience through the teaching of classes and workshops in areas of their specialty or interest including, but not limited to, acting, audition techniques, movement and dance, and role preparation. An official secondary concentration in opera stage direction and pedagogy at the DMA level is in the planning.
